Oh, stencils. You did so much harm in so little time.
My mom has a grapvine stencil along the ceiling in her family room. For about six feet it is actually really pretty because she through and did shading, etc and made it look hand painted (and my mom can paint, so not as tacky as most stencils). Then for another 10 feet or so it is colored in, but not shaded and finished. Then the rest of the room is just her beginning pencil marks from the stencil. How long has it been this way? Only 15 years or so.
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
