I NEED ENTERTAINING ASSISTANCE.
I'd go to the EI board, but frankly, there's no one there whose opinion I value.
SO.
Big family dinner on Saturday (anywhere from 30-40 people). We'll have ham & turkey, cheesy potatoes, etc.
I'm going to make a side-dish and a dessert.
For the side-dish, I'm thinking of making the stuffing I made for TG because I pph it so much. But I'm stuck on the dessert. Any ideas?

Schwetty Balls.
Cherry pie, home made cake and home made icing, cookie platter (home made, God forbid you buy one), or a combination of cookies and mini cupcakes
For sexy menu ideas, I'd go with something like chocolate covered bananas.
Otherwise I'd do a really tasty homemade apple pie and ice cream/whipped cream/cheddar (depending on which you prefer)
Or blondies. Blondies sound delicious right now. With white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
Ages: Fetus - 80.
Allergies: I don't know.
Raves: Cheesy potatoes, creamed corn, anything that's extra cheesy/saucy/over-processy.
Prefers: Down-home cooking. Nothing high-falutin'.
Flan is yummy and is easy to both make and chew. I have a great recipie at home or you can make the stuff from the box.

I'd go with cookies. Everyone loves cookies, you don't have to worry about cutting and serving, and you can put in as much or as little effort as you want and still have a good dessert. Chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, and peanut butter bars are always favorites, and are all pretty easy.
make chocolate lava cakes. they're easy, yummy, and typically impress people so much that they crap their pants.
this will also give you a reason to have a "decorate your own diaper" game.
This is simple, simple, simple and tastes like toffee. Maybe add some cookies or cupcakes.
Butter a cookie sheet (with sides), lay out a sleeve of saltine crackers. Melt 1 cup of butter and add 3/4 cup brown sugar. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Pour over the saltines and bake at 400 for 5 minutes. Pour a bag of chocolate chips on that. When the chocolate melts spread over the tray and top with 1/2 cup pecans. Freeze until set then break into pieces.
OMG, one of my friends makes this all the time and she refuses to share the recipe. I'm sending this to you with a big fat :oP attached.
