EK is having a family emergency, won't be posting for a few days, and is asking for prayers. My first thought was that one of the kids fell off the homemade rope shelves. I'm evil. Evil, evil, evil.
Re: Now I feel really bad
why would you feel badly? having an emergency doesn't make her less stupid. it's like dead people immediately becoming heroes. blech, being dead doesn't sanctify anyone.
well, unless you wished her ill all along, because then i could understand feeling badly. i doubt you're that evil.
Well, I I will admit to having righteously indignant thoughts along the lines of "I hope her kids do fall off the shelves, that seems to be the only way she'll figure out how unsafe her house is."
However, I really don't like wishing bad things on people. Most likely her high society grandmother or one of her or Dan's parents is sick and they need to go out of town. That still sucks, but it's not a teaching moment. And I think she and Dan need a teaching moment. <--that's where the evil comes in.
