NGLR: what email client do you use?

I have multiple email accounts and I'm getting sick of logging into them all the time. I used to have thunderbird, but when I got my mac 6 months ago, I never downloaded an email client. I tried using the one that came with the mac but didn't like it much...

so before I go and get thunderbird again and go through the trouble of setting it up...i wanted to check to see what you all use and what you like? i'd do outlook but we don't have microsoft office suite.

Re: NGLR: what email client do you use?

  • Outlook at work, Thunderbird at home. DH set it up to pull all my accounts (gmail, university, hotmail) and it works great.
  • I use Gmail and Yahoo. My Yahoo account used to get A LOT of spam, but now its down to maybe 5 a day. My Gmail doesn't get any. Both are pretty similar for other things. I do like having a Gmail account, because I just use Google sites for my blog. And I just figured out that I can import my Yahoo emails to Gmail, so that's even better!
  • Thunderbird.

I briefly tired Outlook, but I really hated it.  It just wasn't working for me.  It seems to work great for people who use all aspects of it, but it just annoyed me.  : )

  • Outlook at work, Gmail at home.  I would *die* without Gmail, I love it!  I have all my e-mail categorized, it's the only way I can find anything!

  • I have several email accounts - Hotmail and Gmail - that I use.  I have everything forwarded to my main Hotmail account.  I've never had success with an email program, plus my iPhone makes Hotmail very easy.

  • thanks ladies! i think im just going to do thunderbird again....i've been putting it off because when i set it up before, i remember it took a while...and then i had to google to figure out how to sync them so that if i deleted something in gmail, it also deleted in thunderbird, etc...i figured it out but it was a pain in the butt...so i've been putting it off! just wanted to make sure there wasn't a better program out there before going through all the work!
