Re: Yay its Friday...anyone have plans for the weekend?
This was a really long week, it seemed to drag by even though I was super busy at work.
I don't have any exciting plans this weekend, just starting to organize my house. That was one of my new years goals--to get an organization system in place that I'll stick with daily.
we're going to the farm show for dinner tonight. yum.
tomorrow im going to the dooney and bourke outlet in reading, which i am excited for.
i dont have off on monday, which is disappointing, but DH is OOT for a board meeting on sunday so that will be my relaxation day and time to catch up on DVR
Friday flew here for me, but that is because I spent the whole week painting...
My 11 yr old cousin is coming to spend the weekend with us and we are going to go to the Farm Show tomorrow with her.
This has been a tiring week for me. DH and I will be spending the weekend working on our kitchen cabinets. We're stripping the paint off, sanding, and repainting them. It's a HUGE pain in the butt but I have to keep reminding myself it'll pay off in the end.
I'm looking forward to the temps in the 40's this weekend. Thats practically a heat wave for this time of year!
Tonight - work at DH's work from 6-9:30/10ish.
Not sure about Saturday, DH works 8-12... I may go with him to put some extra hours in or clean one of our cars. Clean up some of the house.. hope to just stay home and relax and watch movies or something.. do some laundry.
Sunday - staying home from church to clean up the house, finish any laundry.. I was a girl scout for a long time, and every year since we all graduated from high school, the one mom hosts an annual Christmas/Reunion get together.. so I am hosting at our house this year on Sunday at 5pm.. so Im looking forward to that..
And then I took off Monday, I have my specialist appt at OSS on Monday morning, so I cant wait for that to be here and soon get some answers to my ankle issues... we'll see what they say! Ive had a lot of good reviews about the doctor I am seeing, so I hope we get to the bottom of it now!
Otherwise, thats about it! Have a great weekend everyone! Its been a long week.
tonight: weekly tradition of out with DH's friends
Sat: I have a class from 8:30-2:30, but since it's my birthday I am leaving class at noon to come home and do fun things with DH (snow tubing maybe???) and out to dinner
Sun: church and getting things done around the house
Mon: I have off, but I have a ton of grading to catch up on...so I'll be on the couch doing that all day!
Happy Weekend everyone!!!
Hang out with some friends tonight which I am excited for.
Saturday: Probably spend time with my niece and nephew, possibly Barnes and Noble and Target with them. Saturday night is watching football!
Sunday: Basic cleaning. Go see my parents. We have had a houseguest for the past month and they are leaving for a week or so so I am happy to have my house back for a little bit.
Have a great weekend ladies!!!
