is FI was rummaging through the mail yesterday. We always set it on this little table and go through it from there.
He picks a piece out and a whole stack of junkmail falls to the floor and spreads out in all directions. I've just sat down after working 10 hours, then going to pick up work stuff for him.
I watch him look down, shrug and go sit down. I give him an evil death stare and he says, "I'll pick it up later!"
No, you'll pick it up now. It's less than a foot from the trashcan. It's not that big of a challenge.
So he gets defensive. "I MADE DINNER!"
That gives you an excuse to be a slob?
Not really much worthbitching about. He went and picked it up.
Re: All I've got
Yeah. That's me.
I'm lazy, and a procrastinator. It worked out in my favor yesterday. I got home from running and he had unloaded the dishwasher and had folded laundry. SCORE!
Oh yes, that happens sometimes in my house. Somehow, the fact that DH folded one load of laundry (that was 90% his stuff anyway) gives him an indefinite free pass. W/e.
Yep, I am the lazy slob of my marriage. H puts up with it, but it annoys him. However, I don't use the "I MADE DINNER" defense. I usually make dinner.
I have jokingly tried "I WASHED THE DISHES!" It got me a "good for you" look.
