Can I officially join you ladies?
It is official! We are moving to Irvine by June at the latest. DH has to finish MBA school here in GA and we have to get the house on the market, etc but I know 6 months will fly by! We are coming out for a visit in March and I'm so excited! We have already started looking at some rental properties online, but if anyone lives in Irvine and has a rental house, please let me know! Oh, and I am a trademark paralegal if anyone has any connections at Knobbe......

DH and I are both 26, we have been married 4.5 years, we have 3 dogs (Chief, Bruiser and Lilly, all small, total weight under 35 lbs) and we are from the Midwest originally. DH is an engineer and I am a trademark paralegal. We are both very nervous about moving out there, but also very excited! We have no kids, and probably won't for a few years since this job could move us in 2-3 years.

TV = Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy and Keeping up with the Kardashians....its like a train wreck, you have to look and can't look away!
Food = SUSHI!!!! Mexican and Bar food are good too, but I have celic diease so I can't have anything with gluten (wheat, barley, rye and sometimes oats) so my options are limited.
Drinks = We like to drink
Wine is good, Cider Beer is good, Liquor is good......oh and I'm going to miss sweet tea.........

there is awesome sushi in socal, I'd venture to guess some of the best in the country so no worries there. and the mexican food is to.die.for, none of this faux-mexican sh!t.
yeah, you might have to start making your own sweet tea...the good thing is it's pretty easy to make!

DH is an Engineer too. We were this close to moving to Georgia for grad school 2 years ago. However, I couldn't part with my So Cal weather.
mcdonald's sweet tea is pretty yummy, but i don't know if it's comparable to your stuff.
and, i must know - what's your stance on bacon?
I heard Dicky's sweet tea is pretty yummy too, but I don't really drink tea, so that's just third hand information.
