I know Astoria was your stomping ground so I wanted to see if you could recommend a nice restaurant that the DH and I can go too after we are through getting our manis/pedis on Sunday! We are driving so distance (as in LIC can be included) is not an object.

sorry i'm too late karllen, we were in d.c. this weekend and i didn't hop on here until just now.
for future reference, i like indigo on 31st street just off 30th ave. bar food but really good.
i think you already know i loved mezzo & trattoria l'incontro. not sure if it's still there but we used to like watawa on ditmars for japanese. tokyo diner on 24th street is less special but we ordered from them a lot.
in LIC, i've really only been to cafe henri but it's delish
