My grandma (not Satan's Grandma) is moving in with my parents. She's 86 and has some health issues. Her main problem is that she walks with a cane, but can't seem to stop falling. She was over for NYE and I had to catch her once because she fell off a stool (that we TOLD her not to sit on). She's lucky she hasn't broken a hip (or worse). She has double vision and equilibrium problems, and should not be driving. My mom told me she's moving in at the beginning of next month.
What a relief. It's always a good thing when an elderly person realizes their limitations and takes steps to keep themselves safe and sound.
Re: GOOD.
That is good. I hope she finds that she's a lot healthier and happier when she has help around.
