Oh man! Some days I just love checking out the other board drama...today since I am sick and bored, is one of those days! Check out the snarking and flaming going on F&B and that has carried over to ML. Apparently one of the F&B chicks said on her blog that she is praying for Haiti but won't give money unless someone directly approaches her and asks for it but then goes on in her blog to talk about all the money she is spending on swimsuits for her vacation. Very amusing if you are bored.

Ohhhh I remeber this girl!  She is super cute, I loved her wedding/wedding hair.  Reading her blog, I don't know exactly why she was flamed.  It's her blog, and she did ask to pray for those people.  She made others comments on the F&B board then deleted them?

Got it....caught up now.  If she really did say what she saiod regarding "doing stuff at home and only donating if it were at a store etc"....ok....probably wasn't the most educated and PC thing to say.  Those ML ladies seem like a bunch of haters....Let's start crap with them!

Haha no way! They are crazy mean...I would be in tears in seconds. I think that you are allowed to say whatever you want on your blog, I mean its your blog-if people don't like it they don't have to read it. But I also think she was asking for trouble when she looked to the board for support. I also think it was a bit in bad taste to start her post off with "I feel bad for these people, but anyway on to what I'd rather spend my money on" I mean just don't bring it up at all if thats how you feel. I also thought it was weird that she would only donate money if someone came up to her and asked her....anyway to each his own. I just found it entertaining because those ladies are CA-RAY-ZEE

I kind of understand why some of them were offended... her blog post literally goes from "let's pray for those in Haiti" to "this is my prevacay beauty ritual." I think it just rubbed people the wrong way- there was no segue whatsoever so it made her Haiti comments appear in-genuine.  But... I also think a lot of the snarky girls will take any opportunity they can to flame someone.

I concur that her blog post was not really in good taste.  I have strong opinions about someone that is willing to ask people to pray for the people of Haiti but then consciously chose not to help financially and is instead getting a $35 spray tan to look good on her vacation.  Wow is all I can say to that.
