You joke, but my favorite viewer relations email of all time came from the show "It Takes a Thief." The show was about 2 former thieves showing people how easy their houses were to break into.
The email went something like this:
Please take the show It Takes a Thief off the air. I watched it and thought I'd learned enough to be able to break into houses, but I got caught. Now I have a record and I'm going to juvie. I'm only 14. Please take this show off the air so other kids don't think they can steal stuff like I did.
I still laugh when I think about this.
