As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update on Declan
Just thought I'd give you all an update if you were interested. We came home from the hospital this afternoon. Declan's been without a fever for 1.5 days but still not eating as he should be (only drinking about 20oz and not eating any food) and still has the pneumonia. But he didn't require oxygen last night while he was sleeping so that was the indicator he was getting better.
So we came home and of course I take his temp because he feels warm and it's 102.3. So I called the doctor fearing he'd send us back to the hospital but he was alright with me just keeping a close eye on his breathing to make sure it doesn't become labored tonight. And we go to his office tomorrow so the doctor can see how he's doing.
And while I was in the hospital I developed a sinus infection so I was finally able to go get some antibiotics for it today after having an awful sinus headache/migraine for 2 days.
It has been a crazy few days but I'm glad we're all home and I just pray Declan's health keeps improving! Thanks for all your well wishes ladies!

I was going to ask today how he was but you posted an update. I'm glad he was able to come home and I hope the fever goes down.
I know how hard it is to be sick and have a sick baby. Keep yourself healthy too.
Awww - I've been thinking of you guys. So glad you're all home now - what a difference it makes, I'm sure, for you all to be home with Daddy & Toby and in your own beds!

Well we found out why Declan all of a sudden had a fever and an awful night trying to sleep last night. He kept whining like he was in constant pain and just wanted to cuddle all night. Somehow Declan caught influenza while in the hospital. So that explains why all of a sudden he was feeling worse. So now he's on tamiflu for that and as of right now he's finally started to perk up and be himself!
I think he'll be healthy enough for Mexico on Friday! And after last week I really need a vacation! Thanks for all your well wishes!
