Daybreakers - A review (spoilers) aka...wait for the dvd
The plot was STRONG.....so good. But the movie just lacked in some many ways. Lots of blood and guts (i'm soooo not into blood and guts).
The story line is that somehow vampires become the dominate race. They turned all humans into vampires and those who were caught later on who did not want to turn were used as food. Of course the problem is that the vamps are running out of humans to feed on and the vamps go crazy and turn into bat vamps, like wild animals.
Enter humans. They figure out how to change a vamp back into a human...yay and THEN find out that the breed of human into vamp back into human....their blood will turn a vamp back into a human vs the process they first found....yay! Thn the movie ends were they can't change vamps, they fail and ride off into the sunlight while the vamp world turns into wild bat light creatures who will die.
So....it sucked. Great idea...but really.....it's 2019...they had seen The Matrix....it never occured to not just harvest the humans but to use inverto and grow some? really...2019...that is the first thing i would think off if supplies are low. But of course that would ruin the story.
Ok then it would have been better if the ending was like this: They get into the bank of fake blood the vamps just figured out how to create to survive, put their blood into it(which a human into a vamp back into a human, yea, their blood will make a vamp into a human) so....they take that blood into the supply and change the masses back! Tada.....
THEN....end the movie with the humans repopulating...learning from their lessons and having the Vamps underground figuring out how to make the humans back into vamps. Much more satisfying of an ending.
