Fave Bumble and Bumble shampoo/condition?

My bday is coming up so I'm working on my wishlist for my parents and in-laws again.  What B & B shampoo/conditioner should I try?  I have fine, color-processed hair, if that makes a difference.  Thanks!

Re: Fave Bumble and Bumble shampoo/condition?

  • I really like the Seaweed. I think it is considered the most neutral and similiar to the Neutrogena shampoo where it cleans out the residue. I use it for a few weeks then switch over to my other shampoo.

I love the smell of the Coconut shampoo/cond but it was just to heavy for my hair.

How often to you wash your hair? I recently went to once a week (crazy, huh) but for fine hair I think it looks better after day 2. It starts to have more body. I use the Rene Furtier Dry Shampoo. This stuff is the $hit!!

  • We have really different hair so take this with a grain of salt.  I tried the Bumble and Bumble thickening spray and I really didn't like it at all.  It dried my hair out, and I was really surprised.

Perhaps consider putting the Morroccan Hair Oil hydrating masque on there and/or Kerastase products - I've heard great things about the Kerastase from both starlily and the FB board.

  • I used the B&B color support shampoo/conditioner for a while. Compared to the stuff I had been using earlier it seemed to do a good job. But then I switched to Kerastase and have never looked back. Well, actually I did use some leftover B&B stuff again when I ran out of Kerastase and hadn't made it to the mall yet. :-/ My hair looked noticeably duller and limper. Kerastase definitely works better for me.

Unlike 10YT though, I still use the B&B thickening spray before I blowdry.

  • I have the hair tonic, surf spray and hair powder. The only product that I an really get behind is the hair powder. Love it.

The surf spray is fun, but it may not work for your hair.

    Me too!

People seriously look at me like I'm insane when I mention this (esp. MH), but I love it so.

Whaaaaat? I'm looking at you all crazy like!

I suppose it's just the hair type. I can only get away with every other day - and that's using a dry shampoo in between wash days!

  • i couldn't go more than a day without shampooing :/

i love the creme de coco shampoo and conditioner.  it smells fab.

  • I'm a huge fan of their Thickening Spray - gives my hair way more body and holds the style better than mousse or other products I've tried. For my fine, limp hair, I actually love Kiehl's Rice and Wheat Volumnizing Shampoo and Conditioner. They smell so good and give my hair a little extra umph. I use B&B Sunday Shampoo once a week to get rid of residue and then Kiehl's the rest of the week. Good stuff!
