Update on our little Peanut.... WOW

So at our biophysical, they said he is measuring out to be about 38 weeks and 6 days.  They are guessing he is around 7lbs 10oz right now (give or take about a half a pound).  WOW! He is getting SOOOOO big.  It was so funny to see him.  Oh, and we had her triple check that he was a boy again, ha-ha!

So after that appointment, we went to my regular OB appointment.  Dr P. did the screening for Strep B, and she also checked me.  She said my cervix was long, but that i am starting to dialate.  She said i am between 1 and 2 cm.   WOOOHOO!  She gave me the go ahead to start "trying" to bring labor on, ha-ha!  We'll see what happens.  Still no weight gain (i've gained a total of -5 lbs since I started), but that everything is looking great!

PS- FWIW, they told me Ben would be 10-12 pounds and he was "only" 8 lbs oz! : ?)?

Good news it seems. Take in every moment before he gets here. I forgot how crazy it is with a newborn and it had only been 19 months for me! lol!

It is so much fon to hear the stats, they were thinking Owen was gonna be huge, but he was 7   14 (he was also 2 weeks early, so he could have grown a LOT in those next 2 weeks)  they also remarked on how tall he was gonna be with a long thigh bone, now he's a total shorty, 12th percentile for height, he can still wear lots of 3-6 month sleepers and stuff.  You just never know, but its so great getting a sneak peek!!
