Hair salon recs near Schaumburg?

 I am in desperate need of a new hair stylist in the Schaumburg area who knows what they are doing with curly hair.  Any recommedations?

I go to Abbey at Salon 37 in Algonquin.  About 20 minutes from Schaumburg.  Sorry if that's to far.

I'm actually new to the area too and last week I went to get my hair highlighted and cut at Hip Salon in Schaumburg. It's located on Golf in the same area as Outback and Yu's Mandarin. I was really really happy with my highlights by Julia and with my cut by Casey.

Several of the reviews mention that they are great with girls with curly hair. Nick (color) and Jimmy (stylist) had a ton of positive reviews as well. Hope that helps!

I go to Josie at Asha (an Aveda salon). She's on mat leave right now, but everyone who has cut my curly hair there has done a great job.

I go to Lindsay at the Sharon Daniel Salon.  It is on the corner of Roselle and Schaumburg.  She did my hair for my wedding, and then I let her chop 12 inches off of it.  She's great!

I would recommend Hip Salon as well - Nick for color and Jimmy for cut.

I've had great experiences with Spa Bleu in Dundee (there's also a location in Barrington), but I go to Kara at Dundee...even though it's quite a hike from me.

I go to Jillian at Gossip Salon in Carol Stream (not far from Schaumburg) and have for years...as does my husband, several friends, etc... Her number is 630.461.6601. Good luck!
