"There's no crying in baseball"

Did anyone else hear about Jose Canseco telling Mark Mcgwire that there's no crying in baseball? I love it when big muscle baseball player pull line from movies for their arguments = )

FYI- The argument has to do with the potential for Mark Mcgwire to be part of the Hall of Fame and Jose is sick and tired of hearing Mark whine and cry about it!

Re: "There's no crying in baseball"

  • Yes I didn't hear about it, but I agree! I don't think that any player who has used steroids should be inducted to the Hall of Fame. I'm sure there are players in there that have used and haven't gotten caught or admitted it though.

It's not just steroids: there's tons of enhancement substances/procedures out there -- there's blood doping, HTH and a slew of others; the platelet "doping" is a new one.

If what you said would come down? Man, there'd be very few inductees into the HOF. :(
