What kind of food and beverages do you serve when you have a girls night? I would love to get some suggestions for some variety.
Re: Girls night
Well, my girlfriends all enjoy wine and food that pairs well like fruit, cheese, crackers... Also margaritas! Veggie platters are popular. I like to make mini sandwiches so that the ladies can have something to soak up that alcohol. lol. Just make sure you have both sweet and salty.
btw: I recently went to a girls night party where everyone brought either an appetizer or bottle of wine to share and your own wine glass. It was a fun and a good idea.
How about a Meditarranean theme?
Hummus, pita bread/chips, salad of cucumber, tomatoes and feta cheese, and some olives, grape leaves.
Baklava for dessert.
Drinks could be wine.
I like this idea
This is more like what we usually do. Salty & sweet as well as different types of alcohol.
For my last girl's night in I did a Bloody Mary Bar, where you could make your own drinks. Most people have the ingredients in their pantry anyways so it was easy to do and a lot of fun. I served shrimp, cheese, meats and crackers and an olive crostini which was the perfect match! Check out my blog by cutting and pasting for details and look under appetizer or party.

The last girls night I did was just dessert. I did chocolate fondue and different things to dip in it - strawberries, bananas, graham crackers, pretzels, marshmallows.
I just did this this past weekend and it was a huge hit! GL!
