I installed a programmable thermostat!!
I had heard that it was easy to do, but somehow I didn?t believe it. Electrical work just always sounds scary. However, today, I installed a programmable thermostat. By myself. It took 20 minutes and the hardest part was figuring out how to open the breaker box.
Anyways, just thought I would share because I am very excited about the new thermostat and both it?s green and frugal benefits!!
So if you are thinking about it but worried that they lie when they say ?easy to install? ? go for it!

I love our programmable thermostat- we set it to go down when we are gone to work and when we are sleeping, and to come back up just before we get up in the morning and when we get home.
I am sure it has saved us money.. I can't imagine being without it!
