Olympics?
Anyone else pumped up about them starting? What sports do you want to see?
I prefer the summer Olympics but I started reading about the US Bobsled team so I am excited to see how they do, DH loves curling lol, and I have a soft spot for ice skating

I suppose I will be watch once they start, but I have not really thought about it much. I am too busy with football playoffs and college basketball.
I do like the bobsled and luge and will probably watch some of the skiing and skating.
ME! I am an Olympics addict. I love both Summer and Winter but do prefer Winter, so this is awesome for me. I'm counting down the days.
My favorite Winter sports are hockey, figure skating, alpine skiing, and speed skating.

some good family friends of ours are really high up with VISA so they get to go to all the closing ceremonies for all the Olympics, they get to go to the World Cup this year as well - paid for by VISA. They asked my om if we were planning on going to the World Cup bc they don't really understand soccer, I told them if they needed me to go and explain it to them I was all in for that!
I am jealous. We were potentially going to go to the WC but due to changes in my job we are no longer planning to go. I am way more excited for the World Cup than the Olympics (in case that was not obvious).

I am not looking forward to it at all. DH is going with his mates for three weeks. They have tickets to all of the group USA matches. They will be living it up in SA while I am in NY studying for the bar exam. I am very bitter about this right now.
I would be bitter if DH was going without me as well.
