Cleaning/Preserving Wedding Dress

I just want to tell you all about my recent experience w/ Perfect Press cleaners in Mantua, NJ....

I took my wedding dress there in July to be cleaned and preserved.  I paid in full at that time and was told to give them about 4-6 weeks to have it done.  I went in the store in September sometime to pick it up and they didn't have the dress ready.  They said it was probably in one of their other stores and they would check and bring it to this location that week.

I go back in there a few weeks later to pick up my dress.  They bring me out a box so I ask to open it up to make sure it's my dress.  It's not!

Long story short - they still can't find my dress.  The owner did give me my money back that I already paid him to have the service done, but he just last week started calling (or so he says he did) brides that have brought their dress there since July to have them check to make sure they have the correct dress.

Just wanted everyone to be aware of this and if you do take your dress somewhere to get this sort of thing done  - MAKE SURE IT'S YOUR DRESS when you take it home!  I probably wouldn't have checked if I wasn't already having issues w/ this place.
