It worked!

I eat yogurt every day and hate how wasteful the disposable cups are. Someone posted a recipe to make yogurt in a crock pot awhile ago. I tried it last night and it actually worked! It was really easy to do too. This is coming from someone who had zero cooking skills.

It was a little bit more soupy than I'm used to. And I found out that plain yogurt isn't as sweet as the stuff with fruit in it. But after adding some honey and granola into it it was perfect!

Thank you to whoever originally posted it! Here's the link if anyone wants to try it:

Re: It worked!

  • I have SUCH a big crockpot I'm afraid the dogs and I will be living off yogurt if we make this, but I want to! Then I'd at least get some use out of my crockpot!!

If I do make it I'll strain it so its like greek yogurt. I already eat plain yogurt so I'm not worried about the sweetness (or rather the lack of).

    Thanks for the review!

PS the disposable cups should be recyclable in almost any recycling program.
