I'm still in bed(thank you MLK), but Happy Monday!
The weekend was pretty low key. We had a large dinner party with my 4 BFFs and our SOs on Saturday that was pretty fun. We also picked up a rocking chair and a glider that morning.
This week = half day Friday
, and two manifestation of determination hearings for my students

Had a good weekend of friends, Cirque, new restaurant (thumbs up to the Main St Wine Cellar in Seal Beach), book club, and 24.
This week should be pretty quiet, I hope...
I'm off today...I don't know why I'm awake and out of bed. I may go back.

Sunday: Books and Prosecco and wine
Today: Nothing!
This week MH goes to Ohio, so I'll be making a mess. Wheee!
I'm off today, but woke up when H left for work.
Friday: Swam with dolphins; had an amazing massage; was surprised with a bubble bath, champagne & chocolate dipped strawberried after dinner.
Saturday: Got in a couple hours of beach time before leaving for home. Spent the rest of the day traveling.
Sunday: Post-vacation coma. Tried to catch up on the dvr and the interwebz.
Today: Unpacking, laundry, grocery shopping, etc.
This week should be nice. I essentially have only two work days: tomorrow and Thursday. Wednesday is a court furlough day, which = training sessions for me, and I'm off Friday.
I'm at work. But I took last Friday off so I had a nice long weekend.
Ran, cleaned, found gold in my car, sold some stuff on craigslist (who knew I had a goldmine in my car/around my house that was just junk to me!), farmed, saw my hoorz, hung out with H.
Love it.
THis week will be busy as hell.
The weekend consisted of sleeping off jetlag,finally acquiring our luggage and spending some of the $500 SCP gift cert that my husband won in December!
This weeks goals are to get the house cleaned and get A LOT of laundry done....and hopefully Zara will finish adjusting to being on this side of the world!

Sun - chilled & family thing.
This week - we STILL haven't closed. Hopefully that will finally happen this week. Approx 1 month late at this point.
Ha! I do the same thing. The hours before my H gets back after a trip are spent cleaning up after myself.
This weekend was great. I spent some time with my family before flying back Saturday. Sunday was all about books, food, and drinks. I have today off so I'm being a complete bum. I'm trying to work up the motivation to go to the gym.
This week will go by pretty quickly. I have a lot to do at work, so hopefully the weekend will be here before I know it!
Fri: Miami
Sat: South Beach and Key Largo....surprised SIL with swimming with the dolphins
Sun: Drove back from Miami. DH and SIL went bowling and I got sick with a fever. I was up all night. Yuck.
Friday: court & finalized my divorce, celebrated with my mom, R, & the baby. Watched R & our friend horseplay in the house & one of them accidently went through a wall in our hallway.
Saturday: Took my mom to the airport, watched the guys patch previously stated hole.
Sunday: More house hunting via computer, vegged at home, talked to three lenders, got our pre-approval letters.
This week - Bella's 4 month doctors appointment today, finalizing items related to the divorce (mainly getting the CC debt he ran up transfered over to his name), waiting for warrenty info on our busted big screen, and house hunting.

Friday: Exciting night at the laundromat because our dryer is kaput.
Saturday: Lunch with mom and bro at Sapp Coffee Shop. Looked at bro's pics of Tokyo and Australia. Shared my pics of Costa Rica. Left with four movie screeners. Mom left with three.
Sunday: Lunch at Tiara Cafe. Shopped for glasses for husband. Watched football. Watched Golden Globes.
Pretty uneventful.

Friday- went to my friends house to hang out. The kids played until midnight!
Saturday- ran errands, went and saw The Lovely Bones
Sunday- washed my hair for the first time after getting the Brazilian Blowout and it took 8 minutes to blow dry it straight! (That's exciting to me since I have thick wavy hair), went to a 1st birthday party, car wouldn't start, had to get it towed, borrowed a friend's car, and went to my aunt's birthday party. Went home exhausted
This morning I spent the morning calling another tow truck driver and it turns out it was just the battery, not the alternator like the idiot said yesterday. So I got it fixed!
This week: meeting with an attorney tomorrow and divorce support group tomorrow (don't know what to expect). My brother's birthday is Wednesday so we might get together.
phew, that's a relief!

How was the movie? I read the book and loved it, but was wondering how the movie would be?
I'M also working today. I like how there was no traffic coming in today. But I still wish I was at home doing nothing on this wonderful rainy day.
I spent most of the weekend hanging out with my neice and nephews. Quite an active weekend with freeze tag and all.

Felt like this weekend was a blur and just remember going to Michael?s, Wal-Mart. Target and Smart & Final.
I?m working today and this is my first full week back.
On Wednesday need to take three month pictures of Bella with her sign.
Probably helping IL?s move into their new home.
Honestly I'm not sure if I liked it or not. Maybe b/c of the storyline that I was left a little disturbed. I did read the book and I do think the book is much better of course. But the movie wasn't bad. I think it might be hard for someone who hasn't read the book to appreciate the movie. I do love me some Mark Walhberg though!
Friday: Had some friends over for dinner.
Saturday: Went to a baby shower and then hung out with friends.
Sunday: Went to my parents' house and watched the Chargers game
I'm still trying to adjusted to unemployed life. My goal for this week is to get my house in order and clean. As the days go on I have less and less energy so I'm trying to get stuff done sooner rather than later. Of course, we haven't started the nursery but I promised we would wait until mid-February so he could keep his man room as long as possible.
