Starting Over...

I really hate losing weight.  Why is it that it takes a mere month or so to put on a ton of weight and 6 months to take it all off.  Seriously people.  I am back on the weight loss train.  Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years was rough on our household.  I just needed to vent.  Haha.

Re: Starting Over...

  • grrrr, I'm with you. And what makes it even more frustrating is that TJ has been losing weight so easily. He's probably smaller then he was when I first met him. And then I'm slowly catching up to him lol. wtf?!

  • I totally agree!!!!!  It's sooo frustrating!
  • Steve and I are doing it together, which is good! I have to keep telling myself that it is OK that he will lose way more weight than me per week...he is a guy and loses faster...not that I have to like it, though!!
  • I'm starting WW all over again. To be honest with you, what finally helped me was taking a week off work and exercising. Just getting into the habit of exercising everyday. (I don't know if everyone has that luxury). Getting into the swing of things helped me tremendously with starting the diet portion of it. The weight has been slow to come off, but I've been loosing inches and firming up, which has been great for my motivation. GL! Maybe we should do a weight loss check in every week again. Anyone??
  • i just did the leslie sansone walk 1 mile workout for the first time. its really easy, i sweat alot, made it through the whole thing (which made me smile), and i dont feel tired after like i do with other workouts. i bought it on amazon for $6 (that includes shipping) and i bought it on the recommendation of dh's cousin who loves it. it also has a 2 mile workout on the dvd. like i said, i just did it for the first time today, but it seems like something i can do everyday (or at least 3-4 times a week).

and i loved how all the people in the dvd were normal sized people of all ages and not those barbie looking chicks like on other dvds - i mean these women (including leslie sansone) had hips and curves - although theirs were quite healthy compared to mine lol

I used this video before and after my wedding and loved it! I am starting the 30 day shred this week. I need to get up early before work to do it...I use to do this in college, so I hope to be able to do this now (getting up early to work out)!! Let's hope Sophie cooperates! I LOVE WW...I just can't afford it right now! :(. I am using my "Lose It" app on my phone to track calories, fat & fiber...I think a weekly check-in would be great...My girlfriends and I am doing this through email too! It truly helps to motivate you for the week!!

Do you have all the information for WW?  If so then just do it at home.  You can count points etc from home and not pay the fee.

  • I'm on board with all of you.  I fell off the bandwagon right before Thanksgiving because I got sick.  So I got out of the habit of exercising.  I tried to work out every now and then and eat well.  I worked out a couple of times last week and I have been doing okay eating-wise, but there is still room for improvement.
