rave about your verizon phone here please
I'm due for an upgrade in February and no idea which phone to go with. I have the enV2 and love it right now, so I'll be keeping it as a backup. I'm looking to upgrade to a smartphone, though, so let me know what you love. Thanks!

I was used to the week-long battery life of a regular phone as well.
I am, admittedly, having trouble adapting to the crappy battery life.
In the past year I've had the Env3, which was fine as a regular phone but I got the purple curve (8530?) for Christmas and I ADORE it!
I don't know how it compares to the tour, but the BB OS is probably the same on both so you can expect to find the same apps for either one.
DH has been running a windows smartphone OS for several years and they're just as good.
I'd say do your research on which OS you want, and then narrow down your preferences based on that. I think no matter which way you go, you'll want to get used to charging your phone every night. There are ways to increase battery life, you'll just have to work at finding them out depending on which way you go.
Love my eris also! Had the Moto Droid for a weekend, but the size and weight was too much for me.
