We're having the yearly bannings here at work.
It's a little different in that the 12 people have been told that we are reorganizing and they can apply for 1 of 8 positions. So 4 ppl will be let go. If they don't apply they will be let go.
Another guy was let go, management.
VP told me to come to her office and after I recovered from a heart attack she told me not to worry, I was safe, just keep my head down etc.
That was actually comforting but I feel for some of the 12. Other, not so much. One is a possible rampage risk though, so I'm crossing my fingers that he gets the job.
