...and its driving me NUTS.
I've been thinking about the few we did have on our "short list" and now I can't even say I love those. This is making me want to cry. My baby is going to be "Baby Boy P" forever at this rate. :-(
Re: still no name!.....
We just named ours a few weeks ago (about a Month ago now) and it was very sudden. Not a name that I had originally thought of, but it was fitting.
Care to share some of your short names? Maybe we can help? LoL! Or otherwise, we can throw new ones out that you have not thought of yet.
What's your short list? Boys names were sooo much easier for me than girl names - I'm still wishing I had 2 boys so I could use more of my favorite names
Your second name with an L was on my short list and I adore it. DH vetoed it, unfortunately. I still love it.
Your last one (beginning with a K) I wouldn't do just because there are 12 million of them out there.
I like your C name as well and I think it would be just fine as an older person's name, and has a great derivative nickname.
Your first L name is NMS, but it is still a nice name.
I agree with everything Heather said
Thanks for going through all the trouble of not putting the names out there Heather :-)
I wouldn't worry too much about not having a name, we didn't name Mason until after he was born. We had an ongoing list of about 20 names that we kept adding to. I didn't even look at the list when I saw Mason I just knew. I can't really explain it. They brought him to me in the OR and I just looked at him and said, "he should be Mason" It just so happens it was the last name that was on our list. I like the C name too....I have a friend with a child of that name and wish I could have used it!
I also liked Nolan, Griffin (finn for short), Cole...We didn't use any of these though b/c of them sounding like names of people we know...Others were, Asher, Bennett, Blaine, Talan, Ephraim, Shea, most of those DH didn't like so they were out........I wish you luck, but don't fret over it too much, it will come to you.
I like your second L name. That was my dad's grandfather's name and I would love to use it.. But I think it has been vetoed. The C name your DH likes is cute but I agree with you about it when he is an adult- I just don't know. The other two names are nice, but nms.
I think boy names are much harder than girl names. There are so few boy names I love. Nolan, Lucas, Andrew (Drew), Camden, and Austin are some of my favorites.
