Door County B&B

Anyone have a rec for a nice B&B in Door County?  TIA!

Re: Door County B&B

  • We stayed at the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay once and it was wonderful.  http://www.whitelaceinn.com/
  • My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Cedar Crossing during the dead of winter one year and it was great.  I can only imagine it would be even nicer in the summer.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then success with condoms! Who would ever have guessed.

  • We stayed at the Eagle Harbor Inn in Ephraim and loved it.

  • We stayed at the White Lace Inn in Sturgeon Bay awhile ago (4 years ago).  It was very nice, but the room we stayed in had a very squeaky bed.  Needless to say, I was uncomforable with extracurricular activities because of that.  We also stayed at the Black Walnut Guesthouse in Sturgeon Bay and that B&B was amazing!  We stayed in a room with a fireplace, a huge whirlpool tub, and a seperate bathroom/shower.  They brought breakfast to your room (you ordered the night before from a menu).  They had muffins, tea, cookies, and/or lemonade on the dresser upstairs during daytime hours.  Oh, our room also had a private balcony off it.  It was very private and secluded.  I would go back there in a heartbeat.  They have some other nice looking B&B's online too.  Have fun :)
  • We were married in Door County and stayed at The Chanticleer the night of our wedding.  http://chanticleerguesthouse.com/

It is so incredibly beautiful.  I remember waking up and opening the curtains to see a flock of sheep no more than 5 feet away!  And the breakfast (brought to your room) is divine.

  • We have been camping lately when we go in Fish Creek but last winter we stayed at DC Lighthouse Inn in Egg Harbor and LOVED it!  Because it was winter (Valentines day weekend) we got a GREAT deal!  www.dclighthouseinn.com
