unemployed again
So, yeah. I got fired from my part-time job yesterday. I've never really been fired before (just laid off.) It's quite the blow to the ol' ego, isn't it?
I understand why my boss had to do it. I missed work all last week because I had an awful stomach bug. And back in October I missed a week as well because of bronchitis. She needs someone she can count on, especially right now because the organization just got this huge grant. So she had to let me go.
She said she really appreciated the work I did for her, and would call me if she had any special short term projects for me to work on, but that she needed to get someone hired ASAP that was more dependable.
Now I'm back to being a full-time SAHM. I have such mixed feelings on this.

I hope bosslady can find someone who is immune to stomach bugs and bronchitis. You probably should have gone in and infected everyone else at work /joking. sort of.
