So many crib manufacturers!!

How in the world did you decide what to get?? DH and I are in the very early stages of researching.? I have baby bargains and have checked out many options.? We know we want a convertible crib but other than that I'm overwhelmed!? What brand crib do you have?? Thanks!!

Re: So many crib manufacturers!!

  • Alex has (wait, HAD *sniffle*) a Baby's Dream crib and it was very good.

We've ordered an Old Mother Hubbard crib for Molly. It seemed very solid and sturdy and I think we'll be very happy with it.

    GL!

  • We have a Sorelle crib that we got at Tiny Totland... actually, they were extremely helpful with picking everything out... we also read baby bargains and used it for picking things out.
  • We decided to go with a balance of quality and price.  Childcraft cribs get an A rating in "Baby Bargains" yet in the world of  expensive convertible cribs they are relaitively inexpensive plus available at lower cost stores many times.  We bought our first convertible Childcraft crib at Sears and we now have 2!
  • For our newest little guy, we went with Baby Italia.....  I love our crib choice :-)

  • We have a Legacy and I love it!  They also manufacture the Childcraft line.  Tiny Totland has the best selection of high quality cribs.
  • We have, well had... a convertible Jardine crib....we used it for Drake and had it setup for Jackson but hadn't used it cause a month in a half or so ago heard about a recall on them and yep mine was one of them so we waited for a kit w/instructions from them and we had to take it apart (and the slats were breaking as it said they may on the inside and we would have never known and the baby could become entrapped as what it was recalled for)  and send back all the hardware from it and sticker etc etc and now are waiting for a voucher from them to go buy a new ones at BRU or TRU...and I checked out BRU the other day and they had ZERO in white that I liked that are in our price range. Theres no way I'd spend 300 or 400 on a crib....especially now since Jackson is our last baby. I need to checkout TRU cause I know sometimes they carry different ones, which is why we got the 1st one there. But anyways in ending, I wouldn't rec any Jardine ones just incase...good luck on your search!
  • We have a Legacy crib from Tiny Totland.  We went in knowing what style we wanted and worked from there- then I went home before purchasing to double check the brand's reputation, etc.  Good luck!!!
  • Munire- and we love it!
  • I think ours is babyitalia, its a hand me down from my cousin
