1. I need a light for the nursery closet. Stick up is fine. But the closet is 3'X4' with 7' ceilings. And I don't want to use a ladder or stool for it so top of closet is too high for me. Any ideas?
2. Also, I was going to put a chendelier light in nursery, but kept hearing the fan to reduce SIDS thing. But we have SHORT 7' ceilings so I'm thinking they don't make ceiling fans with lights that flat. Haven't done much research, I admit. Do they make any like that?

Re: 2 home type ?s
As far as the light in the closet, I don't know. We have that issue with our pantry.
But they do make fans for low ceilings, they're called "huggers" or something like that. I've seen them at Lowe's, Home Depot. Supposedly a fan in the room where the baby is sleeping can reduce SIDS by 75%, so it's ALWAYS on in Elise's room. Even in the winter, we have it on low.
Yes, they do. We bought one for our kitchen at Lowe's for ~$50.
Sorry; I got nothing for the light.
Squee I just picked up white hugger one from Lowe's for a whole $35! Hot damn. It's like a foot deep so I hope it'll work! Thanks ladies.
Now onto the light situation!
Amazon rocks.
