A large & small heart shaped cutters will help a lot.
you can do sandwiches, pancakes, cookies, fruit like watermelon for kabobs like this:
You could make small personal pizzas in heart shapes.
Or just add small heart cut outs of fruit and bread to other foods that can't be shaped like soup with heart shaped bread floating on top.

haha! Great minds think alike. I was going to say heart shaped cutter for sandwiches.
Or regular sandwiches and chips/pretzels/carrots in clear baggies. You can decorate the baggies with stickers and/or red marker.
And how about heart shaped cookies with milk for dessert?
heart-shaped cookies with little saying written on them: be mine, xoxo, etc.
