Some guy is in the hallway talking to someone saying...
"So the 4x doesn't fit?"
"Okay, you think the 5x will fit?"
"I will call and get a 5x for you."

Also, depending on the brand, 5X could be an 18. I wish I were kidding.
If a 5x is an 18, then I know a lot of people who are a 5x.
I also heard the man call his office and they don't even make a 5x.
Or they don't carry it.
A lot of places don't. Even if it's true sizing, 5X is a 30-32; there are extremely limited options for people of that size.
I'm a 20-22 (which, no, is not a size anyone makes but Target), and even I have trouble finding clothes, despite being "only" a 2X/3X.
Poor thing. I hope it wasn't an item she really liked.
