Daycare question for those of you with kids
We think we've found a perfect daycare for us and it seems really reasonable ($150/wk for infants, $115 for potty-trained kids). But I'm just wondering if you all would share what you pay for daycare? I just really don't want to call all over the place to compare.
Thanks!
Re: Daycare question for those of you with kids
A place I worked at before (DCFS licensed center) charged $205/week for infants 6 weeks-23 months. This was in Peoria though. (I would guess prices should be on par to the QC area.)
I think $150 a week is a GREAT price for a center. On the high end of cost for an in-home day care (but I wouldn't rule it out if the provider was AWESOME... plus you can't put a price tag on the well-being of your baby).
Is it an in-home or center? If it's a center, that's a great price -- we pay that much for 3 days a week. For an in home it is probably a little above average...but if it's a good place, I'd pay it.
