I was stalking your blog and just have to say I adore your photos!  They're awesome!  What camera do you use and do you do a lot of post processing with photo editing software?  I just got a Nikon D40 and want to begin learning how to use it beyond point and shoot in auto mode (which is what we've been doing with it since we got in in mid-November).

Re: ***cecig***

  • Awww thanks Lori! My camera is a Canon 50D, which I've had for almost a year. I don't do a lot of post processing besides a lit bit of tweaking in Lightroom 2, but I would like to eventually get my hands on Photoshop though :) If you truly want to learn your camera I would suggest putting it on manual and start shooting around. That's the nice thing about digital, not wasting film & just deleting "bad" photos instead. I feel like it's taken me a long time to learn some things but at the same time it's fun looking at the progress I've made. You should see some of my first pictures taken with this camera ;) I've had some friends & relatives ask me to take photos of their kids which I never expected so that's been fun too. Thanks so much for the sweet compliments. I am sure you'll have fun practicing with your Libby here very soon :)
