Events

Do you know of any events for 20yr olds in the Lansing area that are free or cheap? We would love to get involved with activities at MSU but neither of us are MSU students, (we graduated from a different Mi school)

Re: Events

  • Does it have to be MSU related?  What about lugnut games? or boarshead theater?  Or high school play productions?

I'm not sure if you are looking for events to attend, or for groups to be a part of.....

  • I'm not sure what you're looking for or referring to. There is an annual thing in Lansing called Be a Tourist in Your Own Town and you can purchase a passport for the entire day (I think they're like $2 each or something) and that gets you into all kinds of things for that one day. (the zoo, impression 5, etc) Does that help?
  • Thanks! We have thought about going to a lugnuts game, but I've never heard of boarshead theater, is that in downtown?
  • Boarshead closed.  The Michigan Historical Museum is Free (downtown).

I don't remember what we did before the baby.  We like the lugnuts, but it is the dead of winter.  MSU basketball is fun.
