Reusing Gallon Milk Cartons?
Do they have BPA in them? Are their risks? What are your thoughts. We don't usually buy the plastic ones, but my grandma did the buy one get one free at safeway and gave us her free one. If we can't use it to hold drinking water, I'll fill it with water to put in the freezer to help keep down our electric costs.

Thanks!
Re: Reusing Gallon Milk Cartons?
I agree with PP that there can be danger in reusing the carton for other food storage. One other use, though, is to cut off the top to create a small storage "bin". They are especially great for wet things, like paintbrushes or scrubbing brushes. But they can also be used for organizing loose hair things, holding pencils (1/2 gal, esp), etc. DH's gma taught us that trick!
Good point. The thought actually made me gag a little.
