Hawaii Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Did anyone mail in their SS-5 form with the marriage cert & form of ID? If so, how long did it take for you to get your stuff back & new card?
Gracias!
Re: Name Change Question
Ditto PP.....I didn't like having to send my documents away, so I went to an office. That whole visit took only about 20 minutes, and I had my card less than two weeks later.
I went in there as well. And like the others, they never asked for any ID. I found that interesting considering I usually have to give my right arm for everything else I need to have fixed.
I remember fearing that I would be there for way too long like the DMV. But I was in and out of there in record breaking time - 8 min. Why I remember that, I don't know.
Thank you for the help! Maybe I'll just try to sneak down there as soon as it opens.
