Well...I didn't really get much info from my post asking for advice for an exersaucer for tall babies.  People basically just said the Baby Einstein Jumperoo is the tallest one available.  Charlotte is just getting into jumping and has been doing it a bit in her saucer, so maybe I will pick one up.  Sounds like Ben is a tall baby too.  Isn't it tough finding clothes for him?  I have an AWFUL time finding stuff for Charlotte.  She is so tall, but not very chubby at all, so everything is either too short or too big in the waist.  *sigh*

  • :::butting in:::: Jenny, I love your new siggy - she looks just like you!
  • Thanks so much!  It's funny...sometimes she looks just like me and then other times she looks just like John.  Does Austin do that too?  One day look like you and then the next look just like your DH??  He is such a little cutie.  I love the pirate picture you posted.  So funny!

  • ::also butting in:: she is beautiful! what gorgeous eyes!
  • Thanks for letting me know, Jenny. ?He loves his Jumperoo soooo much and I tear up at the thought of having to take it away soon...

Yeah, we also have a rough time of clothes. ? He's so darn tall- 30 inches at 7 months! ?He's 20-21 pounds, so he's not wasting away, but other than his chunky thighs and cheeks, he's actually pretty lean. ?Long and lean, as my MIL refers to him. ?So one piece things barely snap together- long in the torso. ?Two piece things- he meets the height requirement, but not the weight, so he swims in them.. ? SO frustrating!! I am loving the past few days that we have been home, just having him in a diaper and onesie! ?

And I agree, she looks JUST like you in your new pic! ?What a pretty little girl!! ?We should GTG sometime; I think Ben is looking for another girlfriend. ?: )?

  • It sounds like Ben and Charlotte are approximately the same size.  She is 29" and about 18.5lbs.  I guess it makes sense that she is so tall because DH and I are, but she was such a tiny little peanut when she was born.  She was only 6lbs. 11oz. and 20.5".  Was Ben a big baby or was he little too?  It also sounds like they have the same clothing issues.  We should start a company making clothes for long and lean babies! :)  And taller exersaucers too!

We could definitely get together sometime.  It would be fun.
