LA Restaurant Week is back!

Lots of good places to choose from:

I've eaten at several of these places during previous weeks, and the value is pretty good, especially for the higher end spots.

I'm thinking of going to the Water Grill this time around...

Re: LA Restaurant Week is back!

  • So the lunches and dinners are the exact prices listed at the top of that site?

I'm assuming that they have a special menu - is there usually a good variety to choose from, or is it one meal and you don't get to pick?

  • Yes, those are the prices!  Click on the restaurant you are interested in and go to their website, most of them list on their websites what the tasting menu is for restaurant week.  Usually a 3-4 course tasting menu with a few options for each course.

We go every year, it can be a great deal!

  • Try Grace if you've never been!  The food is unbelievable and you get a lot for the price.
  • That is totally cool!  We live in Ventura Co. but we might check someplace out!

  • There's so many options. I may have to convince DH to try a few new places. Thanks for the link.

You typically a choice of three starters, entrees, and desserts.  Sometimes the restaurants offer an additional choice for an extra amount - like Grace has a Dungeness Crab Salad available for an app for an extra $5.  Other places like Campanile offer wine pairings for an extra $20-22.  But even if you don't get these extras, you're still in for a fantastic meal.

A lot of the restaurants are on the Westside/Downtown, but it's really worth making the trip.  Last Restaurant Week Craft handed out coupons for 30 dollars off a future meal.
