Who did you use as your wedding photog??
A friend is getting married and I am trying to help her out. I used a friend for mine...so thats out.
She is thinking of Lisa Eley Photography...any one use her?
Any one have any photog recs? and if so what was (about) your totall $$ spent on your photo's and were you happy???

I used Van Rensburg photography. This was almost 7 years ago but he came highly recommended to me from numerous poeple. I loved my photos and i paid a small fortune for them. He was really awsome but i have no idea what his number is anymore.
I also know Kelly Kennedy; her business is called One 3 photography. She is really nice and her and her husband do all the photography. Her work is stellar. I've seen numerous pic's she's taken and i can say she is really creative. I believe her prices are also better but her number is 480-233-8928. I met her through a networking group called BNI and i know people who have used her and have been extremly happy. hope this helps
I used LaTricia Soucy with Marriott Photography and LOVED her and my photo's. Marriott Photogaphy was actually just announced as one of wedding wire's top vendors for 2010.
My package was $1795, which included multiple locations, the whole day, engagement photo's, our album and a $250 print credit, which we were able to apply to purchasing the disc of images from our wedding ($995 less the print credit).
We also had LaTricia do our rehersal dinner. I can not say enough good things about her, our photo's, or just Marriott Photography in general- they are wonderful!!!

We used Tami Martin photography-like her lots and lots--our package was about $1500 for everything (including all images).
I used Kelly Reiter photography. My package was about 2100 and included all images, 3 photobooks, engagement, save the date cards, thank you cards, print credits and an 11X16 canvas.
Kelly was amazing to work with and I highly recommend her.
I used Aubry Startin, and LOVED her. I was lucky enough to get her when she was first building her portfolio (about a year and a half ago), so I got a really good deal. I think we paid about $700, which included all images, unlimited time, and I think about 50-100 edited images (think sepia and various artistically edited photos). She also had packages that included engagement shoots, photo albums, etc -- we just opted out of all that stuff.
She was amazing. Not only was she fun to shoot with, she also happened to be about 8-9 months pregnant at my wedding, but she had LOADS of energy. Everyone commented on how they couldn't believe how well she was moving around.
She also got the photos to us very quickly. Just a joy to work with. I plan on going back to her for "family shots" when the time comes.
