Madison Ladies - Home Depot carpet ?

Has anyone ordered carpet and had it installed from Home Depot?

hols...can I butt in and ask if anyone has ordered flooring (kitchen) from them??  I'm curious to hear the responses for carpet AND other flooring.  thx.

not in Madison, but we got a better deal on better carpeting from Carpetland.  It was also nice to learn a bit about what I was buying.  We walked out of Carpetland without buying and the guy called us that night with a better offer so you can negotiate.

yes, we did.

I had no problems with the installation or anything really.  My only regret (my fault) is to get better stain resistant carpeting and following up with the warrenty (needed to have it professionally steamed cleaned 1 year) because now, one of our rooms is destroyed by our dogs. : (

MaestraMama - Have you checked out FloorsForLess?  Off the beltline near Fish Hatchery.. (1017 Applegate Road) That is where we got our kitchen flooring from and I was really happy with quality and price.  The place is a hole in the wall, but I was happy with them.

hols...yes, we checked them out once a few years ago (i think they were in a different building then...) Did you have them install your flooring as well? Were you happy with their work?

We didn't have them install the flooring...someone else did it, but I should have done it myself because it looked easy.

We got Carpet for our rental that we have and we've had nothing but problems with the instal and they've had to come back twice now to correct it and it's still not right.
