i'm a little disappointed w/ the designers this season. no one's wowing me. what do you think?
Re: project runway fans?
i know! there was always 1 or 2 that i couldn't wait to see what they'd do next challenge. this year. . .
speaking of comp. reslity shows, i was so excited for top design last year! boring! i didn't even watch past the 3rd/4th episode. i could do so much better! it's on again, so i'm going to get it a try once more. maybe i need to get on there! ha! ha!
You know, once you start your interior design career, you should try out for HGTV's Design Star. Same idea, but in your area of interest. That would be a fun show to be on.
On an unrelated note, would you like to do something together later this month? I have to work this weekend, but I'm free after that. Let me know if you want to try out a yoga class or something.
sure! let me know when a good day is for you. i think i'm pretty open.
have you heard from yh? i finally got to hear from my brother! yeah! doing well, all things considered. they've extended their deployment another month. so hopefully he gets home i time for christmas! that would be the best christmas present!
oh! i would love to be on a design show. haven't seen top design. i should, vern's awesome! my fav when he was a trading spaces guy!
i did download an app for smarter than a 5th grader! we'll see what happens!
I think August 30 or 31 would work well for me. I'll try to come up with some ideas of things we can do. Maybe there is a local fair or event we could see.
I'm so happy for you that you were able to hear from your brother! I'm sorry to hear his deployment was extended. We had that happen recently with a unit in Afghanistan. My husband has been able to call me a few times since he left and he sends emails a few times a week as well. He's doing really well, but the work schedule is rough and he's already looking forward to returning. Luckily, he is enjoying having a bit of adventure and he's happy to see me being completely independent since it gives him a sense of security.
I love "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" That would be such a fun show to be on. I'm sure you could easily win some money if you made it on. I've been trying to push my dad to go on Jeopardy for years since he has a photographic memory and knows just about everything, but he's been reluctant to apply.
