Shower location ideas needed
Hi -
I'm currently living out of state, but some friends of mine from back home in CT want to have a shower for me. However, they are getting stuck as to a local and have asked me for ideas. It's a long story of why there isn't a house available for the shower.
We're looking for something in greater central CT that is on the budget minded side... budget is what is keeping them from just booking a resturant. Any ideas of cute rooms that are for rent, I have plenty of people willing to cook or bake etc. for a tea-time shower, but I need some help coming up with a location. Any leads are appreciated! TIA!

sorry! but... maybe some of you ladies have ideas as well!
I'd look into a VFW halls to rent if you have people willing to cook. I know there's one in Newington that rents out for around $200 per event as I looked into it for my SIL's shower, but it was booked already.
