i went to happy hour last night with friends to jack allen's on 71- Y U M!  the food was so awesome and the appetizers are all half price. they are huge and really nice fancy type food, and at half price they are $4-5 and are big enough to be a meal!

maybe we should add it to the places for a southie gtg- seriously yum!

Oh!  I was there, too!!  And, I agree, it was delish!  I got the hugest plate of chicken nachos.  They were delish, and I could only finish about 1/4, and it was $4!

That sounds great!  Hopefully DH and I will get a chance to check it out over the next week.  Thanks for the rec- I've been kind of avoiding the place bc of the multiple turnovers and not-so-great startup food each time.  I've missed the Y Bar & Grill.

We have avoided it, too, because it has 'turned over' so many times. Our rehearsal dinner was at the Y and we LOVED it (then). So happy you posted this review, we'll definitely check it out!!!
