Talk about Highway robbery!!
I was low low low on gas. Like really low. Like OMG I don't even know if I will make it to the nearest station five minutes away Low. I hate going to the gas station near me because the prices are always uber high. Today they were a full 0.30 HIGHER than anywhere else. I put in enough gas to get me off empty and drove to a cheeper station in town that also has a carwash. This station is always packed. I don't get it. It's always way more expensive, the only reason I can think of that it gets away with it is because it's at a junction between two major highways and a bridge to the US.
