Re: Weekend Plans
Tonight dinner at home then friends over for coffee and puzzles
Saturday a few groceries, making a big pot of homemade stock, making dinner for friends coming over with their two little ones.
Sunday a campaign meeting for DW hosted at our house then coffee with freinds in the afternoon.
All of this with some house projects and cleaning in between. And hopefully at least one morning of sleeping in.
Carols brother is in town this weekend, so tonight is family pizza night, then tomorrow is family dinner.
Other than that I think it will just be spent working around the house and doing lots and lots of laundry.

This is the first weekend in a long time that I have really no idea.
I know that it'll include sports class and a haircut (and gym childcare for the boys) on Saturday morning - but other than that I don't know. I am sure there will be some grocery and/or Costco shopping, perhaps a visit to Cracker Barrel to use a gift card, maybe a dinner at our Mexican restaurant, hopefully some outside playtime tomorrow afternoon (since it is supposed to rain on Sunday), probably a visit to the mall on Sunday for indoor play area (aka germ pit) time (due to rain), and some friendly (or not) Wii playing among the boys. Yesterday was the first day that L felt really good since her surgery - so I am just looking forward to having assistance and hanging out as a family.
Quiet night at home tonight. Hopefully C will get out of work at a decent time.
Tomorrow, C won't be home until after lunch time, so I'm hoping to get a lot of things done around the house while she's gone, so that for the rest of the weekend we won't have housework to do. I also have a phone date with my dear friend who lives in PA - we've been having a hard time keeping up with each other, so we scheduled a date! The night is an open book. We've talked about maybe dinner out, or dinner in and dessert out. We'll see.
Sunday, we'll have to go grocery shopping. We'll probably just hang out at home and try to relax since next week is going to be even crazier at work for C than this week was.

We have a very unstructured weekend planned. My mom came to visit today spontaneously (she's working on supplies for haiti) which is exciting but threw a wrench in our original plans. We'll probably take her to breakfast at our favorite local place (Mark's Kitchen, for DC folks) and then watch her insist on re-cleaning our house.
I have some work I'm bringing home and E got some new tools for Xmas that she's planning on trying out this weekend. She's building a beautiful bench for our front porch. But I'm also hoping for some great cuddle time and silly movie watching. We actually just got the Love Boat from Netflix and I am bizarrely excited to watch it with nostalgic glee.
we've got a random list of things we'd like to do but really no set schedule for them:
- meet up with a friend for lunch
- possible haircut for sprout
- valentine's pics of the kids
- children's museum
- take sprout to the library to start working on the kid computers
- work on their lifebooks
- outdoor play on saturday if its warm enough
- Church Sunday
And somewhere in all that goodness there will be laundry, errands, and i'm going to try desperately to do some cooking for the week. oh yeah, and maybe we should take the rest of the christmas decorations down...

Tonight we are taking DD to her Dads house to stay for the weekend. I will probably be finishing up baking and decorating cakes.
Tomorrow I will be cleaning the house to prep for the bride that's coming over for her tasting and I have to deliver a cake. The tasting is at 3:00 and DW works from 4-11. I might rent a movie and snuggle with the cats.
No plans for Sunday yet.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
I have no clue - so just a normal weekend for us.
Tonight we're bowling in a charity event for my work. That should be fun. Plus I hear when pregnant, you actually bowl better :-p
Saturday - Christmas decors will get sorted and packed away. Probably some errands. Maybe a trip to BRU to finish our registry.
Sunday - who knows? I need to stop by Abba916's to drop a saw off to her DH and so I can get some cute baby time with her newborn.
Saturday - hot stone massages, facials, and mani/pedis at the spa; then we're driving out to the country and a horse and buggy is picking us up for a moonlight ride to the lakeside cabin where we are spending the night.
Sunday - hot air balloon ride w/ Champagne breakfast and then snowshoeing. Then heading back to the cabin to warm up and have lunch (and cocoa!) by the fire before we head back to the city.
Ooooh wait, no, that's what fantasy Rachel is doing this weekend. I always get those mixed up.
Actual Rachel is going to yoga tomorrow morning, then taking Jen's marathon medal to have her name and time engraved on the back. And doing some laundry. Jen is working most of the day and then we're meeting up for dinner (Jaleo, yum) and going shoe shopping so I can find shoes that will fit my orthotics. Sunday, grocery shopping and probably seeing A Single Man.
lol! you completely had me going as i was sitting here thinking "what?? i'm pretty sure thier anniversary isnt coming up. how did i miss the planning of this fabulousness?" hahaha

Tonight will be a blissful night of NOTHING. I cannot wait. We'll probably watch a movie, I will definitely be lounging around in my PJs.
Tomorrow we have nothing during the day, but will be watching my friend's two month old twin boys so that she and her husband can go out for dinner together. I'm so excited. They are such cuties... plus it gives me little thrills to see Trav holding a tiny babe!
Sunday more PJ lounging, then dinner with some other friends.

Tonight we have Wii bowling league at friend's house. We haven't seen these guys in forever, so I am really looking forward to it.
The rest of the weekend we will mostly be working on the nursery. The carpet is being installed on Tuesday--it came in 4 weeks ahead of schedule
--so we need to quick do some drywall repair, finish the painting, clear out the closet, etc. And I promised Kel we would squeeze in going out for chinese and watching the Vikings game too.
today we've been doing stuff around the house. we might run out to a couple of stores and get dinner at pei wei to bring home.
tomorrow we'll be working on stuff around the house during the day. we're thinking about leaving monkey with his grandma and grandpa in the evening and going to a toy party that we were invited to.
sunday, church and then to our friends' house for a playdate with them and their daughter. should be fun!
