I'd like to take one but my aunt and cousin went to one at a community college where they learned to make creamed corn and melt chocolate into molds for chocolate lollipops. They were led to believe it would be more advanced than that so local classes worry me.
Our local parks and rec does separate classes for french, italian, chinese, etc. which might be worthwhile. What I'd really like to take is a knife skills class or an advanced pastry class.
