Our (fairly new) vacuum is dying and making awful sounds and smells. Has anyone had luck taking theirs to a local repair shop? And if so, is there a place around NoHo you can recommend?
If not, we'll have to bite the bullet and buy a new one....
Re: Random Vacuum Question
That's what mine sounded like when a little rock got sucked into it. I'm sure it can be fixed if it's something like that. No rec's for you though.
Hi Ginger!
What kind of vacuum is it?
Hey there stranger!! And omg, I just noticed your ticker - congrats to you!
It's a Dirt Devil bagless that I bought at Target. Actually now that I just googled it to find out the brand it looks like it's on sale for under $100. I think I'll just buy a new one - the imaginary dirt on the carpet is driving me batty right now!
Thanks Ginger! We are very excited!
I was just curious because we've been looking into getting a new vacuum. I've heard great things about the Bissell lift off. They sell it at Costco for $150.
I just noticed your ticker, are you TTC? I used Fertility Friend too!
Thanks for the tip - I have a costco card, so perhaps I'll check that one out too.
And yes, this is my first cycle temping. I'm so glad I started keeping track, or else I'd be in a constant state of wondering what the heck my body is doing. Fingers crossed that it works sometime soon!
