RE: Sushi Get Together
As usual, our idea for a get together only appealed to a few people. And imagine that, it's the same group that went last time (Andrea said she's in). 
I'm wondering if we should just can the idea? Maybe we can plan another day when more people are available. Anyone have suggestions? I wish there was a way more people would come!? Remember the days of theknot when we were planning our weddings and the get togethers were attended by 20-30 people!?!?

Maybe some people don't want sushi and don't want to speak up? I don't know. If it ends up being the same old group maybe we could do a pot luck at someone's house. I could do it at mine once it's built, maybe end of November/December. Although I'm not promising anything because I'll be in school full time and working 40 hours a week. LOL!

I also invited my friend Jordan and I think she was planning on coming. She was on the Knot when planning her wedding. We could do a pot luck....I could look at my calendar and see what dates work for me. Would Sunday evenings work for all of you? (Well the the small group of us who meets up.)
I am supposed to pop around Nov 8th....so I need to see you all before then! I am still up for sushi though. It is interesting b/c as I pop around the other nest boards (basically all baby related) I see other people from Vegas. I guess no one comes on here. We could invite some knotties too? I am always up for meeting new people.
I'm down for whatever - just let me know.
Although, Sundays are not good for me. It's the only day DH and I actually get to see each other, any evening other than that he is at work so that would work out better for me.
I'm down for a pot luck. I already made plans for the 22nd after the lack of response from everyone other than the "regulars." I guess the whole point was to give everyone who claims Vegas is a hard place to meet people a way to meet people, but oh well!
So what's everyone's schedule look like for September 19, 2008? We could potluck at my house if you want? That will give us more than enough time to get a good group together? My only warning--I live in Mountain's Edge in the far Southwest, so it's a drive. Let me know.
BIP -- DH, DD and I are in town on the 19th (well, heading home that day). ?I can maybe talk him into staying later and at least try to swing by and say hi. ?
?RSP -- can you let me know if it's still going to happen when I see you? ?(hey, when am I going to see you anyway? )?
